Welcome to Group Registration
Thank you for choosing the Butterfly Pavilion for your field trip. You will choose from the following options when registering for your visit:
Class & Self-Guided Visit (September - early June only)
Begin your field trip with a 35-45 minute hands-on class experience followed by a self-guided tour of our exhibits.
Choose from 4 class options to fit your classroom studies - Buggy Basics, Life Cycles, Insect Inquiry and Habitat Happenings.
All classes are based on Colorado State Model Content Standards and Core Knowledge guidelines and incorporate life science with other disciplines such as literacy, geography and math.
Average field trip length = 2 ½ - 3 hours
Includes 45 minutes (class), 1 ½ hours (exhibits), 20-30 minutes (lunch outside), 15 minutes (nature trail)
Self-Guided Visit Only (year round)
If you choose not to participate in a class, you may opt to register for just a self-guided visit. Explore our 4 indoor exhibits (Crawl-A-See-Em’, Water’s Edge, Wings of the Tropics and Shrunk!), the outdoor nature trail and butterfly gardens.
