Scholarships
All scholarship funding has been allocated for 2007-2008.
We are still accepting applications for our scholarship waitlist. You will be notified if new funds become available.
Scholarships for Colorado Schools are available for the following:
Admission (for field trips to the Butterfly Pavilion)
Transportation (to the Butterfly Pavilion)
Outreach Programs (at your school or facility)
The Butterfly Pavilion provides limited financial assistance to Colorado schools that have 50% or more participation in the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program. Assistance is available in several forms:
50% reimbursement for school bus transportation and/or;
$1.75 or $2.50 reduced admission cost for students
Up to 50% discount for outreach programs scheduled at your school
Please complete and submit all scholarship forms immediately following your field trip or program registration.
Apply early! Assistance will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis (funds are typically depleted by early spring).
Combined admission and transportation assistance can only be provided to schools that exceed 70% participation in the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program. Schools between 50-69% are eligible to apply for one form of assistance.
Exceptions can be made for special needs groups that do not participate in these federal programs.
